　　主讲简介：赵华 教授，英国皇家工程院院士 (FREng)，国际汽车工程学会会士 (FSAE)。现任英国伦敦布鲁奈尔大学 (Brunel University London)工学设计与理学学院副院长。1984年毕业于天津大学，1989年获英国利兹大学（Leeds）大学博士学位。曾在剑桥大学、伦敦帝国理工学院任研究员，2009年被授予高级科学博士学位（DSc）。曾任英国大学内燃机联合会主席，自2014年起担任英国机械工程师学会先进动力燃烧系统及燃油专家委员会主任。天津大学特聘教授，国家973重大基础研究项目首席科学家和课题负责人。近年来发表国际期刊及国际会议论文300余篇，出版和编著6部专著，授权国际发明专利7项，获奖5项，主持和完成欧盟、英国政府和工业界资助的科研项目几十项，培养博士和博士后40余名。　　

　　主讲内容：In-cylinder flow and combustion measurements are important for the development of modern direct injection gasoline/diesel/gas engines and the validation of simulation and computer aided engine designs. The presentation will provide the overview of various laser diagnostic techniques and their applications including:-Optical access to Internal combustion engines
-High pressure Gasoline/diesel Fuel injection characterization
-Intake port design by in-cylinder flow measurements
- High speed in-cylinder mixture formation and combustion studies
-In-cylinder Knocking and low speed pre-ignition (LSPI) studies
