On 24 Aug, Prof. Li Song, from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), visited Jiangsu University and was invited to give a lecture on the topic “Study on novel 2D intercalation material: Controllable synthesis, Structure analysis and Physical exploration” at the Lecture Hall of IER. Over 100 teachers and graduates from IER, SCCE and SRA attended the lecture, Prof Huaming Li, the Executive Vice-Dean of IER, hosted the meeting.
Dr Li Song is a professor and Ph.D supervisor at USTC. He obtained his Ph.D from the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2006, with Prof Sishen Xie (Academician of CAS). From 2006 to 2012, Dr Song conducted his research at University of Munich (German), Rice University (USA) and Shinshu University (Japan), as Humboldt scholar and associate professor successively. In 2012, Dr Song was selected for Hundred-Talent Program (CAS) and Thousand Youth Talents Project. For his outstanding research, Dr Liu has published over 100 papers in the top journals of his field, such as Nature Materials, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Nano Letters and Physical Review B,which were cited by SCI for over 3,000 times (H-index=38).
