From August 22nd to 28th in 2015, Prof. Zhixia He, the vice president of Institute for Energy Research of Jiangsu University, and Dr. Liang Zhang followed by other five masters attended the 13th International Conference on Liquid Atomization and Spray Systems (ICLASS) in Tainan, Taiwan province.

　　ICLASS is held in Asia, America and Europe respectively every 3 years since it was founded in 1971, namely it is held in Asia every 9 years. This year the conference is undertaken by National Cheng Kung University.
　　There are many experts, scholars and more than 300 students from Asia, America and Europe in the conference. This is a feast of the academic exchange in international liquid atomization and spray systems, and it represents the latest progress in research and application of the spray techniques, which plays an important role in promoting the development of liquid atomization and combustion technology.
　　During the conference, Prof. He and international counterparts are in-depth academic exchanges and discussions, while Dr. Zhang and master of Yuhang Chen, Liming Dai, Xicheng Tao, Zhisheng Gao and Genmiao Guo were doing oral report, which got heated discussion and fully affirmed by the experts in the field. After the conference, they carried out further discussions and extensive exchanges.
Participating teachers and graduate students of Institute for Energy Research successfully finished the task of academic exchanges with good quality and high level of professionalism, which expanded the international influence of Jiangsu University among counterparts and has laid great foundation of the subject of our school, power engineering and engineering thermal physics, gearing to international advanced level.
