Prof. Yanglong Hou from Perking University visited Jiangsu University and gave a wonderful lecture entitled ‘Nanostructured Hybrid Materials for High Performance Anode of Lithium Batteries’.
In the lecture, Prof. Hou introduced the key scientific and technical applications for lithium ion battery and lithium sulfur battery. The nanostructured hybrid materials combining graphene with metal oxides, nitrides, sulfides, hydroxides and metal alloys and other new energy materials can suppress the side reaction during charge/discharge process, improve the effective utilization, enhance the ionic and electronic conductivity, which can finally achieve the long cycle stability and rate capability.
