On February 17, President Xing Weihong and her delegation visited our institute for a research session, which was attended by all members of the institute's leadership team.

He Zhixia, Dean of the institute, provided a detailed report on the institute's development and progress in areas such as disciplinary construction, faculty development, talent cultivation, scientific research, and internationalization. She also presented the key tasks for 2025, as well as issues, reflections, and measures related to the institute's development in recent years.

Xing Weihong fully acknowledged the achievements made by the institute in recent years and addressed the concerns raised. She emphasized the importance of clarifying the institute's development positioning, strengthening guidance for faculty, and cultivating talent in the hydrogen energy field. She also stressed the need to support the growth of young talents, solidify their academic foundation, leverage disciplinary strengths, and enhance social services. Additionally, she encouraged bold thinking and concerted efforts to achieve breakthroughs in the "Double First-Class" initiative.
