On November 11, to promote the further development of the Department of Hydrogen Energy Science and Engineering, Future Technology College in building a high-quality book publishing system and transforming scientific research achievements, Professor Qian Xu, Head of the Department, invited editor Lu Mengmeng from Chemical Industry Press to deliver a special report titled "Focusing on High-Quality Book Publishing to Facilitate the Transformation of Scientific Research Achievements and Discipline Development." The report conducted in-depth discussions around three main directions: "High-Quality Publications, Digitalization, and Integration of Industry and Education."

She provided a detailed interpretation of how high-quality book publishing can aid the transformation of scientific research achievements and the development of the Department of Hydrogen Energy Science and Engineering from five aspects: precise positioning to serve multi-level teaching needs; building a new textbook system to promote "integrated paper-digital formats and dynamic updates"; strengthening the publication of scientific and technological works to facilitate efficient transformation of research outcomes; focusing on innovations in the energy sector to create high-quality book series; and optimizing the publishing process to ensure content quality and timeliness. She proposed leveraging Jiangsu University's national key laboratories, the "Double First-Class" discipline development in Agricultural Engineering, and its high-end talent programs to select and prioritize the publication of academic monographs annually. Emphasis will be placed on publishing research achievements in interdisciplinary fields, emerging areas, and regional specialties, aiming to create the "Jiangda Sci-Tech Innovation Perspectives" series.
