In order to fully implement national requirements for strengthening research integrity and foster an innovation ecosystem characterized by integrity and the pursuit of excellence, the Energy Research Institute organized the 2025 Conference on Advancing Research Integrity and Academic Ethics Development on the afternoon of October 22. Faculty and students from across the institute attended the meeting, which was chaired by Dean Yong Yangchun.

During the conference, warning education was conducted based on typical domestic and international cases of academic misconduct. Concrete measures were proposed to further strengthen academic oversight, improve evaluation mechanisms, and clarify primary responsibilities under the new circumstances. Deputy Dean Yong Yangchun emphasized that research integrity is the cornerstone of scientific and technological innovation, and it is crucial to the sustainable development capacity and academic reputation of the institute. Every researcher should firmly uphold the academic values of "integrity first, quality foremost," promote the spirit of science, and collectively safeguard a truth-seeking and pragmatic academic environment.
