To effectively enhance students’ awareness of learning, abiding by, and applying the law, as well as to improve their ability to protect their legitimate rights and interests in accordance with the law, the Energy Research Institute held a legal education lecture titled "Youth and Rule of Law Walk Hand in Hand" in Lecture Hall 1517 on September 26. The lecture was delivered by Shentu Xiaoli, Associate Professor from the School of Law and a member of the university-level youth lecturers’ team. Attendees included Party members, probationary Party members, Party membership activists, and representatives of the 2025 cohort of new students from the institute.

Shentu Xiaoli provided a detailed interpretation of three key aspects: what law is, what rule of law is, and the legal faith and responsibilities of young students. She not only explained the related concepts in an accessible manner but also used vivid case studies to help the audience understand the meaning of law and rule of law, as well as the legal responsibilities of young students. This provided the students of our institute with an engaging and insightful legal education lecture.

The students expressed that they benefited greatly from the lecture, noting that the content was highly relevant to campus life. As young people in the new era, they emphasized the importance of starting with abiding by school rules and regulations, continuously strengthening their awareness of rules, and internalizing the spirit, thinking, and concepts of the rule of law. They committed to cultivating habits of conscious law-abiding, seeking legal solutions when encountering issues, and relying on the law to solve problems, while clarifying fundamental legal boundaries and behavioral limits. They also expressed their determination to strive to become qualified builders and successors of the socialist cause.
