On October 23, at the academic salon of the Energy Research Institute, Dr. Zhao Yan from our institute reported on the recent work. The teachers and students of the Energy Research Institute and other related colleges listened to the report.

At the report, Dr. Zhao Yan introduced the development of energy storage materials and their research status around the research topic of “Construction of multi-metal heterostructure flexible supercapacitors based on in-situ crystal phase transformation”. The study of transitional Co-based materials as flexible electrodes in flexible supercapacitors has been studied, including material crystallinity, morphology control, electrochemical performance improvement of materials after vulcanization and selenization, and examples of transparent flexible devices. At the end of the report, he also showed his exchange of study and daily life at Monash University in Australia, and had a lively discussion with the teachers and classmates present.
Zhao Yan, Ph.D., master tutor. In 2015, he received a Ph.D. in engineering from Fudan University and a visiting scholar study at Monash University in Australia in 2018. In recent years, he has been engaged in the research of supercapacitors, batteries, photocatalytic materials and devices, and has published SCI research papers in related fields (including Adv. Funct. Mater.; ACS Appl. Mater. Interface; Energy; Electrochimica Acta; Sci Rep.; Appl. Catal. B-Environ., etc.) Nearly 40 articles, domestic (international) meeting reports 2 times. The first author of SCI papers 14 (including IF>13 papers 2, ESI high cited 1), correspondent author SCI papers 3 (including ESI high cited 1), 5 patent applications, 2 authorizations.
