On November 27, at the academic salon activity of the Institute for Energy Research (IFER), Dr.LiuJunfeng in our institute made a report and summarized the research work in recent years, the relevant teachers of IFER listened to the report.

At the report meeting, Dr. Liu introduced the development of metal phosphide nanocrystals and their research status around the research topic of“Controlled Synthesis of Metal Phosphide Nanocrystals for Electrochemical Energy Technologies”. The previous part of the report introduced the phase, morphology and size-controlled synthesis of metal phosphide nanocrystals, and the synthesis mechanism of metal phosphide. In the latter part of the report, the synthesis strategies and application of less-studied metal phosphide nanocrystals were introduced. After the presentation, a heated discussion was continued with the present teachers.
　　Dr. Liu Junfeng was graduated from University of Barcelona and obtained doctoral degree. He joined our institute from August 2019. In recent years, his research focused on functional nanomaterials for energy storage and conversion. He has published 7 research paper in related fields includingApplied Catalysis B: Environmental, Chemistry of Materials, Journal of Materials Chemistry A.
