Abstract:
Increasing demand for sustainable energy has accelerated research on various renewable technologies. Developing catalytic energy conversion technologies for replacing the traditional energy source is highly expected to resolve the fossil fuel exhaustion and related environmental problems. Exploring stable and high‐efficiency catalysts is of vital importance for the promotion of these technologies. Single‐atom catalysts (SACs), with atomically distributed active sites on supports, perform as emerging materials in catalysis and present promising prospects for a wide range of applications. Recently, my research focuses on the development single atom catalyst for photo/electro-catalysis, including water splitting and CO2 reduction. By clarifying the active site and catalytic mechanism from the atomic level, we can provide theoretical and experimental basis for the realization of accurate catalysis. Related results/conclusion guide the design of efficient catalytic materials and get us closer to understand and master the nature of catalytic reactions.
